Mohammad Reza Laali
From a young age, I dreamed of giving people real-life superpowers—tools that empower, include, and uplift. At 14, I designed motorized shoes for a friend with mobility issues, inspired by Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon. That mix of empathy, imagination, and design thinking set me on my path.
Education
With a B.A. in Psychology, an M.A. in Industrial Design, and an ongoing M.Sc. in Mind, Brain, and Behavior, my education bridges human behavior, design, and neuroscience. Psychology taught me to understand users beyond what they say, tapping into habits, emotions, and motivations. My design master’s sharpened my research and prototyping skills through projects like ToothTroNaut, a science-based toy that builds healthy habits in children through play. Now, I’m exploring visual perception, how we see beauty, form, and hierarchy, through neuroscience and eye-tracking studies, aiming to make design both intuitive and evidence-informed.

Today, I use design to turn care into creation—building products that blend function with feeling. I believe great design doesn’t just solve problems; it inspires, connects, and transforms. I’m here to collaborate—with teams, companies, and investors ready to build a more inclusive, empowered future.
